Timothy Hildreth

Timothy Scott Hildreth, age 54, of Hudsonville, finally experienced peace on Monday, February 6, 2023, and his burden was lifted. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith, and now is fishing with Jesus. Tim was a loving husband, brother, and uncle. He was fondly known as “Uncle’’ Tim” to family and friends alike. He was an incredibly talented woodworker and was Inducted into GRAFMA in 2004. Tim loved GVSU football and tailgating with his dear friends and he never missed a home game with his season tickets. He loved to fish and carried at least two fishing poles in his truck anywhere he went. Tim’s happy place was his cabin up north on the Muskegon River where he could fish right from his backyard. He also loved to travel and went to several countries. He enjoyed working on and driving his Nissan Z. Tim had a big heart and a giving spirit. The last thing he did before going into the hospital was buy treats and deliver them to the valets at Lacks Cancer Center who had been parking his truck for him every day as he underwent radiation treatment. He was fortunate to have a boss and coworkers that he truly liked and a job he enjoyed. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hattie Hildreth; parents-in-law, Richard and Sharon Tardani; and sister-in-law, Annette Harris. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Christina; sisters, Charlina Lowrie, Barbara McKeathon, Sue and Severo Carneiro, LouAnn Hildreth, Christy and Jamie Hamm; several Tardani siblings; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial open house will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. in the MKD Reception and Event Center, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW., Grandville, MI, 49418. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Harbor Humane Society.
