Thuan Buu, age 74, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2019.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Giau Thi Nguyen; children: Tuong (Phuong Cao) Vinh, Tam (James Hung) Ly, Giang (Thuy Hoang) Vinh, Thuy (Binh Khuu) Huyen; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Cong Tang Tonnu Phung Khanh. Thuan was born in Vietnam. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Lap Duong officiating.  Visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
