Tom, I just learned this news this week and I know that you’ll forgive me for being so late to the party. You were well aware of my own issues. You were a good friend, I enjoyed our discussions about music, guitar playing and bike riding. And let’s not forget your disdain for pants and the joy of eating pancakes. So sorry that you weren’t able to climb out of the darkened hole that you found yourself in. I wish you peace my friend. Whether riding bikes or listening to your music or writing, I always appreciated you. Proud to call you my friend, sometimes trespassing on lawns or making the conscious decision to wear, or not wear, pants. I miss your banter & humor!!

My brother...you were so encouraging when we worked at Harco. You kept us in stitches with your one liners from across the hall. And on that sad day when we all found ourselves unemployed you were the one speaking loudest for us. You rallied us together on FB years later. I was hoping to and trying to reunite with you. So sad you've left us. Sorry I couldn't be there for you. One Awesome funny man. Love you. Miss you.

My condolences to Tom’s friends and family. I never met Tom but loved the music that he made. We were in songwriting groups together… everything he felt was in his songs. I pray for his family to recover from a devastating loss and ask them when they do to let his music live on wherever he posted it.

Tom, last year you joined a songwriting group and I was immediately surprised we could be in the same town and cross paths many times without meeting. I’m sad we never formally met again and that you couldn’t pull yourself out of the pain. Brother, you may’ve been complicated but we’re more than you realized you were. My heart is breaking. This is hard news. All my love and comfort to Patty and the rest of Tom’s family and other loved ones. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you all. You are in my heart and thoughts. I was one of those bratty kids who lived on 42nd St. and loved hearing Tom’s jokes and seeing his joy in biking, playing music, and being outdoors. I will miss him very much.

I’m so so sorry to Toms family and friends for your loss. I’m in the UK so never Tom in person. We met on fb via music/guitar groups and write similar. We spoke quite regularly via messenger about music and silly things, his loathing pants and Bisket and Madge on Instagram! I found him to be a very kind man, with a lot of passion in him for his family. Sending love x
