Thomas James Stoliecki

Thomas James Stoliecki, age 81, of Manistee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Navy, serving two tours of duty on the U.S.S. Salamonie. Early in life, he loved to travel to many different countries. He retired after many years from General Motors. He loved to reenact and learn about the Civil War, spending many trips to different battlefields with his family. He was also a member of the Third Michigan Group. He enjoyed collecting, especially stamps and various items. He was an avid gun enthusiast and a member of many sportsmen’s clubs. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Barb; brother, John. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Gary and Tina Geyer, Connie Farrell, Julie Geyer, Brandi Clugston, Sheri and Jim Costello, Mike and Chrissie Stoliecki, and Nancy and Chuck Murray; many grandchildren and great grandchildren: sister, Kathy Schrebe; brother, Doug Stoliecki; many nieces and nephews; special canine friend, Sir Robert O’Dune. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
