Thomas A. Owens

Thomas A. Owens, age 64, of Wyoming, Michigan passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Owens. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathryn; his children and their spouses, Brad and Kathy Owens, and Corbin and Susan Owens; his mother, Louise Owens; his granddaughters, Laura and Kayla; his siblings, Dale Owens and Denise Griffin; cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues, and friends. He will be greatly missed. A graduate of Schlarman High School in Danville, Illinois, Tom worked at Dyna-Plate, Inc. for over 35 years. He took much pride in his work and the growth of the company. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. A private viewing for the family was held on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in Wyoming, Michigan. A private celebration of Tom’s life will be held in Danville, Illinois, on Saturday, April 25, 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Tom’s name to the Tri-Cities Kiwanis Foundation (www.tricitieskiwanis.org).
