O'Keefe, Thomas A. O’Keefe – Thomas A. O’Keefe, aged 82, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2012, with his angels by his side. He will be dearly missed by Ruth, his wife of 63 years; his children, Stephanie DeVries, Michael (Julie) O’Keefe, Elizabeth (Scott) Stevens, Mark (Susan) O’Keefe, Shannon (Don) Mekkes, David (Amanda Crowe) O’Keefe; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Amy Kirchoff, Irene (Jack) Ryfiak, Roberta Ryan; many nieces and nephews. Tom proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force after graduating from Catholic Central High School in 1948. He was the co-founder of North West Tool and Die. His hobby was building and crashing radio controlled model airplanes. Tom published the book, “Lighten Up” and had a great sense of humor right to the very end. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
