Remembering Theodore John Hestand

Theodore “Ted” Hestand, age 83, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. He is survived by his children, Debra, Donna, and Ryan (Jessica) Hestand; 4 grandchildren; niece, Michelle Hestand; sister, Deirdre (Richard) Goeman; brother, Dean (Judy) Hestand. In respect for Ted’s wishes no services will be held.

If this is the Ted Hestand that was a MHSAA and WMOA football official, I worked many junior high, high school and a few semi-pro games with Ted. I always remember great times on the field with him.
