Thelma   Orme

Orme, Thelma Thelma Orme, age 88, of Grandville, was called home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.  She was a kind and compassionate woman with a servant’s heart.  Thelma took no greater joy than serving and ministering to others, but above all, she lived her life to serve her Lord and Savior.  She treasured her family and her church community.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleve Orme; brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Jo Koole; brother-in-law, Dewey Engelsma.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tim and Jill Orme; grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Orme, Kyle and Elizabeth Orme, Derek and Jennifer Orme; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Ethan, William, Louis; sisters, Winifred Koole, Dena Engelsma; brother, John and Marian Koole; special nieces, Sally and Bruce VanderVlies, Shirley and Bob Saum, Ellen and Bruce Walburg, all from the State of WA; special friend, Doris Buyze; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th St. SW, Grandville with Rev. Kenneth Koole officiating.  Interment Fulton Street Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive and on Saturday from 1-2 at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Adams Christian School, Hope Protestant Reformed School or Faith Hospice.
