Teunis Witte

Teunis Witte, age 74, of Byron Center, passed away from complications of pancreatic cancer.  He entered the presence of his Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020 and is now singing with the Heavenly Choir.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ena Witte.  Teunis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Phyllis; children, Natasha Witte, Lisa Witte, Nathaniel and Megen Witte, Christina and Tom DeVries, Matthew and Brianna Witte; eight grandchildren; siblings, Henk and Thressa Witte, Jo and Dan Bajema, Johannes and Lynda Witte, Sophia Witte and Phil VandeRiet, Herm and Laurie Witte, Ina and Warren Burmeister, Paul and Karen Witte, Marlene and Tom Kramer; sister-in-law, Jessica VandenToorn; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at First Byron Christian Reformed Church, 8541 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center.  Burial Winchester Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at the church. Please use door A to enter and exit door F. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time.  Please wear a mask for both the visitation and the service.
