Terry and I both started at the Michigan Maritime Museum in the spring of 2017. I found him to be an uncommonly pleasant man and a gentle soul. Whenever our paths crossed I knew I was having a good day. I'll miss him. Sincerest sympathies to all his family. Leo Krusack

I have great memories of spending time with Terry as a volunteer at the Michigan Maritime Museum aboard the Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat 36460. I remember laughing and cleaning her with him and Kirk Hoffman last Spring. I will definitely miss his smile and easy going spirit. Rest in peace. May you have fair winds and following seas.

— Dede Ford

My condolences to the Hogan family. I had the great pleasure of working with Terry at the Michigan Maritime Museum. I greatly value our time together on the motor lifeboat CG36460. He was wonderful to work with.

I learned today about the passing of my friend and colleague Terry, and wanted to express my condolences to Louise and family.  I have fond memories of Terry and our work together at Wapora, and then in "sister" utilities in central Indiana, and professional and business groups.  I still remember his quiet leadership and positive affect on others around him.  May you carry the memories of all your good times together to help you through this time of loss along with the prayers of others for your peace.

— Wayne T Swallow

My condolences to the family and especially Louise. I was an environmental manager at another utility and Terry and I worked together frequently. He was a good man and a good friend. He loved his family dearly.

— Michalene Reilly

My heartfelt condolences go to Terry’s wife Louise and his family. He was a mentor to me at IPL and after. I will remember his quiet style of leadership and his willingness to share what he knew. He will be missed by all.

— Ann McIver

My dear friends, Louise & Sarah, My heart breaks for you. I have always felt profoundly thankful that Terry so kindly shared you with me - sometimes taking over massive amounts of your time. I saw him be so quietly supportive of our friendship & then to happily share the details of his work & hobbies when the time arose. Life changes so suddenly, but please know that many prayers & moments of mediation will be devoted to you.

— Kim Van Valer

Our Deepest Condolences to the Hogan Family. Although my encounters with Mr. Hogan were minimal, I always enjoyed them. Most recently Willow's graduation party. We are praying for you all. Rest in Peace

— Debbie (Kapke) Caplette

I work for years at IPL with Terry and learned so much from him. He was knowledgeable and very helpful as I learned the ropes. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Terry and I shared utility experience and I always enjoyed sharing stories and conversations. We did not talk frequently, but I will miss the occasional conversations we did share. Rest In Peace.

— Jeff Kapke
