Terry Geurink

Terry Allen Geurink, age 69, of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly and entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Terry proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He worked for Keeler Brass and the United States Postal Service. Terry enjoyed many good times hunting and fishing and was a gifted woodworker. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his property up north. Terry and Joanne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past fall. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Geurink; and his brother, Kenneth Geurink. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne; children and grandchildren, Sherri and Matthew Roelofs (Adam, Ryan), Kimberly and Michael Gulliford (Jacob), Tammi and Justin Roose (Seth, Braedon), Patti and Matt Cook (Drew, Cullen, Samuel, Lauren); father, Adrian Geurink; sisters and brother, Janice and Tim Teasley, Randy and Pam Geurink, Bonnie and Tom Klingenberg; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 2 p.m. at ResLife Church, 5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, with Pastor Bernard Blauwkamp officiating.
