Terry Alan Fay

Terry Fay, age 76, of Grand Rapids passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 and went to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Fay; mother, Louise Highland; sister, Patricia Harrison; and infant granddaughter, Aleyana. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-one and a half years, Christine; his sons, Scott (Alisa), and Jamie, bonus son, Jarmal “Spud” Carter, his daughter, Allyson (Josh); 16 grandchildren, William (Molly), Devin (Autumn), Xavier, Dakota (Brian), Domonick, Jamie Jr, Alizjah and fiance, Mang, Jevario, Makayla, Talayah, Keara, Nathen, Anastazjah, Jakobe, Jyana, Jaleigh-ana; 17 great grandchildren; his brothers; Kenneth, Jim (Vonnie); many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Terry loved his Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines, but he really loved his Detroit Tigers. One of his absolute favorite memories was when he coached both of his sons’ little league baseball teams. He loved playing baseball with both of his sons and their friends. He loved bowling and tinkering in his yard. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.  Burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, August 21 from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the family to help with funeral costs.
