Tena Wulfsen

Wulfsen, Tena Tena (Kuiper) Wulfsen, age 87, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 and now joins her husband of 66 years, John Wulfsen, who preceded her on June 15, 2013. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Wilma Nyburg, Glenda and Ken VanDoeselaar, Janice and Robert Tompkins, Jay and Barb Wulfsen, John and Carol Wulfsen, Jolene and Jack Emaus; 22 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Ann VanderBrink: sisters-in-law, Bernice Grooms, Nellie Kuiper, Marion Kuiper; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11 am at First Hudsonville Christian Reformed Church, 5486 32nd Avenue, Hudsonville with Rev. Dave Jolman officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. The family would like to thank Rev. Dave Jolman for his care, compassion and visits; also to Cambridge Manor staff for their wonderful care that was given to Tena. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Baruch Ministries.

Dear cousins, We want to express our deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear Mother. So hard to say good-by but if we would ask her--she would not want to come back as much as she loved all of you. What a blessing to have both of your parents so many years and now after spending over 60 years together they are now reunited. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sorry we did not make it to the funeral. We were at our new cottage with our kids. Seems like just yesterday we were there for your Dad.
