Tena Worst

Tena Worst, age 91, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 4, 2021. Tena was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Tena’s strong faith in God, strengthened her and her family throughout the years. She showed love and kindness to others and always had a grateful spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold John Worst; parents, Jacob and Jennie Huisman; sister, Janet Dykhouse; and brother, Henry Huisman. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon and Steve VandenBerg, Harold J. Worst, Jeanne and Terry Boening, and Donald Worst; grandchildren, Daniel and Colleen Worst, Emily Worst, Samantha Worst, Benjamin Worst, and Shawn and Matt Quam; precious great-grandchildren, Kyah, Skylar, Brody, and Brooklyn; sister-in-law, Bertha Huisman; and several nieces and nephews. A private funeral service will be held at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grace Hospice or Alger Park Christian Reformed Church.
