Tara Marie Hart

Tara Marie Hart, age 34, passed away suddenly on 12/10/2020 after battling PTSD with severe onsets of anxiety and depression. Tara was born 01/25/1986 in Rome, NY, the daughter of Denise and Sherwood Hart Jr. 

The majority of her life she lived between Peru, NY and Marquette, MI. With strong perseverance and determination Tara chose to continue her high school education home schooling herself online and graduated from James Madison High School with Honors on 02/16/2005. Tara held several waitressing jobs, cleaned airplanes, cleaned homes and offices, volunteered at Salvation Army, and her favorite was as a paralegal for a good friend Greg LaDuke. 

From 2015 forward she resided in Holland, MI where she began her family. Tara loved most in life her children Ashton, Holden, and Zaelynn and spent every day planning and organizing everything from the next meal, to craft projects, adventure outings, and when they all could be together again. Tara loved anything celestial (sun, moon, and stars) even naming her support kitten for 13 years “Celesta” who misses her greatly also. She loved painting, crafting, sewing, writing & poetry, and sold numerous paintings she did around NY and MI. Her love for music would always have her jingling lyrics as she held her babies in her comforting arms and lived through each day a day at a time.

She is survived by her mother Denise Johnson (companion Douglas Raish) of Marquette, her father Sherwood Hart Jr. (companion Melissa Meyer) of Keeseville, her only sibling brother Joshua Johnson of Marquette, Maternal Grandparents Marie & Allan Johnson of Marquette, Paternal Grandparents Nancy & Sherwood Hart Sr. of Keeseville, a nephew Zachary Johnson, an aunt Nancy (Randy) Roes, 3 uncles Kirk (Keri) Johnson, Lowell (Kim) Hart, Ricky (Lori) Summerlin), and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins. More than she realized, she is deeply missed by her family and friends. 

A celebration of life memorial will be announced at a later date due to travel complications during the COVID pandemic.
