Syed Naqvi

NAQVI- Syed Mohammed-Ali Naqvi passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He was a professor at Aquinas College where he taught Business Management. His hobbies included photography, reading, watching movies,and spending time with family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Syed Ahmed-Ali Naqvi and mother, Sughra Begum; sister Malka Begum; former wife, Nancy Werner. Syed is survived by his son, Jamshaid Naqvi; granddaughter, Hannah Naqvi; sister, Kishwar Sultana Ali; Nieces, Masooma Ajaz Kazmi and Mumtaz Fatima; and cat, Ali. Visitation will take place 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 21 at Fountain Street Church, 24 Fountain Street NE, Grand Rapids.
