Susan Walcott

Susan Walcott, age 62, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Evelyn Lotterman. The family she leaves behind will miss her and remember many loving moments spent together. This family includes her husband, Mike Walcott; children, Jennifer (Nate) Davies, Richard Kramer, Brooke (Jeffrey) Kramer, and Jes Kramer; step-children, Drew Walcott, Jason (Samantha) Walcott, Trevor Walcott, and Vince Walcott; siblings, Patricia (Chip) Miller, Tom (Lynn) Lotterman, Kathi Lotterman, Cindy (Dan) Schneider, and Barbi (Dale) Feldhauser; and her eleven grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Susan loved gardening, cooking new recipes, and spending quality time with her family. She worked tirelessly to support cancer patients through her work at Spectrum/Corewell Health. Susan is remembered by those who knew her as generous and kind, someone who truly cared about others. A celebration of life will be held for family and close friends at a future date. In Susan’s honor, do something to help someone you don’t know today.

Susan was an caring, kind, and compassionate. She was not only a loving wife, mother , and grandmother, but she cared deeply for the oncology patients she served in her latest role at Spectrum Health. She was full of knowledge and wisdom. I enjoyed hearing about her plans for her grandchildren. Only now do I understand that special love and bond she emparted upon them. She was a beautiful soul. My deepest condolences her treasured family. Sending them prayers and bidding you farewell, old friend. Thanks for the memories.

Susan was such a beautiful person in mind, body, and spirit. She truly cared about others and spent time invested in knowing who you were and how you were. She lived what she said and she loved her family so much, especially her grandchildren. I was honored to be her friend if only for a while, and she indelibly has left a lasting impression upon my heart. Deepest condolences to your family on the loss of this amazing woman.
