Susan Marie Jacobs Rein, age 72, of Wyoming passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; son Jason; father and mother, William Jacobs and Charlotte Terry; sister, Patricia Hull. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law, William II and Julie Jacobs; nieces and nephews, Jessica and Ethan Mann and their son, Icarus, Rebecca Jacobs, Mike Hull, Annette Lundquist, Kevin Hull and their children; Gary’s daughter Hope and her two daughters Haley Rein and Chelsea Wickham. Susan retired after 25 years as a telephone operator supervisor. Susan enjoyed family get-togethers and meeting with her friends at Marge’s Donut Den. Susan visited CVS, Big Top Market and Woody’s Press Box often. She will be missed by everyone that knows her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 16, 11 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with a rosary service at 7:30 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the St. John Vianney Foundation.
