Sunny Lucas

LUCAS - Sunny Lucas aged 72 of Comstock Park went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 3, 2011. Sunny was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Conti; second husband, Carl Slaughter; son Randy Conti; father, Herbert Gerke; mother and step-father, Virginia and Joe Garza. Surviving are her children, Laura (Randy) Springer, Scott (Tami) Slaughter, Joel Conti, Tracy Slaughter; grandson, Robert Slaughter and brother David (Sandy) Gerke. A service of remembrance and sharing of stories will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE in Belmont. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Sunny's memory may be made to Hope Network.
