Suellen Jeffers

Jeffers, Suellen Suellen Jeffers, aged 56 of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dorothy Ruschmann; and brother, Bernie Ruschmann. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jessica and Hanna Jeffers; sister, Connie (Jim) Warner; brothers, Rob (Shari) Ruschmann, Paul Ruschmann; nieces, Kecia and Jenna; and nephews, Colin and Ryan. Suellen loved spending time with her family and sharing stories of her childhood. She enjoyed reading, golf, gardening, and was obsessed with “Survivor”. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1935 Plymouth Ave SE, Grand Rapids with Fr. Troy Nevins presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm. Visitation will also take place at the church on Friday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.

I'm deeply saddened at the passing of Suellen. I worked with her for many years at Details/Steelcase. She always had a great story to tell and a warm caring heart. I'll truly miss her smile and laugh. My deepest sympathies to her family. Matt Marion

It is difficult to fathom that Suellen has passed away. She was a colleague of mine at Details and I can say that she was always a shining light in the office. She was very devoted to her daughters. That Suellen is gone is hard to take in. She always enjoyed my writing and encouraged me to continue. All I can think to do is post one that she told me she loved. Long ago time found us. Dancing under moonlight. Seeing you everyday. Memories of life we made. Some things remain the same. Only time fades away. I still feel me holding you. Never did I let you go. All those things we used to do. Only the things you and I know. You are still with me here. Only time fades away. Into the future life leads. Feeling new wounds that bleed. I worked with Suellen at Details/Steelcase. Even though she was in Grand Rapids and I was in Athens, Alabama I enjoyed talking to her and working with her so much. She was a special person and I know her family knows that but I want you to know she made an impression on my life. You all will be in my heart and prayers during this difficult time.
