Stuart Vander Kooi

Stuart Vander Kooi, age 88, of Jenison, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who took great delight in spending time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Grace Vander Kooi; children, Robert and Karen Vander Kooi, Harry Vander Kooi, Judy Vander Kooi; grandchildren, Stuart Vander Kooi and Kyle Vander Kooi; brother and sister, Dictus and Marieke, both of the Netherlands; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jo Vander Kooi, Jane Lambers, Jo DeNooy, John Keuning; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 AM at Twelfth Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 7581 12^th Ave., Jenison, with Rev. Mark Bennink and Rev. Jim Evenhouse officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Memorial contributions in Stuart’s honor may be made to the organization of one’s choice.
