Steven Ross Steigenga

Steven Ross Steigenga, age 53, of Jenison was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was a member of Bethany United Reformed Church and worked as a mechanic for 25 years at Rosewood Auto. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Steigenga; and parents-in-law, Ken and Pat Doornbos. Steven will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years, Kim; children, Laurel and Jonathan Kuiper, AJ and Ashley Steigenga, Joe Steigenga, Katherine Colleen and Shane Garrow; grandchildren, Emma, Shane Jr., Samantha, Ford, Pippa, Lincoln, Jase, Winnie; father, Norwin and Lois Steigenga; brother and sister, Jack Steigenga, Lynda and Todd Moelker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jan and Doug Brower, Gary and Karalee Doornbos, Ron and Karen Doornbos, Bryan Doornbos, Marlene Cooper, Dan Doornbos, Carolyn and Roger DeJong and Tammy Doornbos. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at Bethany United Reformed Church, 5401 Byron Center Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Casey Freswick officiating. Interment  Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and 12:00-12:45 on Friday, prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mid-America Reformed Seminary.
