Steven John Marshall, age 65, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2024. He is survived by his children, Holly (Brian) Vermaire, and Carla (Alex) Zidarevich; grandchildren, Brynnan and Bennett Vermaire; brothers, Joseph Marshall, and James (Mary) Marshall; and his loving partner, Lara Rich.

Steve grew up in Wyoming, Michigan, where he attended Godwin High School. He worked many years at Steelcase and took great pride in his career. Steve always enjoyed being active, favoring running, skiing, and cycling. He also enjoyed caring for his beloved dogs.

Steve had a big heart and was a loving father, grandfather, and partner. He would do anything for his family and loved fiercely. He was always encouraging people to do their best and was generous with his time and resources. Steve loved to crack jokes and make others laugh. He will be deeply missed, but our family is grateful to know that Steve is finally at peace.

No services will take place as Steve requested, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Steve can be made to the Salvation Army Virtual Red Kettle Campaign.

The world has lost an incredible life. You have my sincere condolences, my deepest sympathies and my love. Your Dad was my second cousin. I met him a couple times for lunch and learned so much about our families that I never knew. I too shall miss him. Dawn
