Steven Craig Dupay, age 61, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was a proud University of Michigan graduate who worked as an engineer in various industries for 40 years. For the past 21 years, Steve worked at SAF Holland as the Director of Research & Development. He was an avid lover of the arts, and spent many years as a tenor in the Holland Chorale. He enjoyed Michigan winters, spending time with his family, his collie dogs, traveling, technology, and science fiction. He was preceded in death by his parents: Neland Dupay, and Ardyth & Harold McCarrick. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Susan (Bignall) Dupay; sons, Bradley (Abbie), Jonathan (Ashley), Alexander (Cori); one granddaughter; one grandson due in February; brother, Dan (Cheryl) Dupay; and sister, Dr. Malia (Susan) McCarrick. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2 PM at First Reformed Church, 630 State St., Holland. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the memorial service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Holland Chorale or Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation.
