Stanley V. Bush

Stanley V. Bush, age 89, of Grand Rapids was welcomed to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Bush; parents, John and Josephine Bush; siblings, Jozef Bush, Helen (Chester) Wonak, Jean Bush, Chester Bush, John (Marge) Bush; son-in-law, Steven Steiner; and grandson, Matthew Keeling. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michael (Ruth) Bush, Joanne Steiner, Martin Bush, Jerry (Mary) Bush, Diane (Fred) Ives, Larry (Lisa) Bush; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Rosalie) Bush; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his family at Boulder Creek Assisted Living. Stanley retired from a life-long career in sales. He was a long time member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church before joining family at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. He was an avid Cubs and Bears sports fan and his enjoyments included golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Wednesday, August 17, with an hour of visitation prior to the service at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6393 Belmont Ave. NE, Belmont, with Fr. Tony Pelak officiating. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-8 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:30.
