Sonia Larsen

Sonia Lorraine Larsen, age 79, of Kentwood MI passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was born to the late Loran and Helen Larsen on June 22, 1937 in Frankfort, MI. Sonia was preceded in death by her sister, Karen. Sonia was a graduate of Frankfort High School and Western Michigan University. Sonia was enthusiastic in her life and work. She enjoyed her fashion career in retail. Sonia will be deeply missed and loved by her family and friends. Sonia had a large family of lifelong friends with which she embraced and immersed herself. She was a loyal friend. She was a vibrant and passionate woman. She enjoyed lighthouses, her beloved Frankfort and warm sunny weather. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in Sonia's memory. We will be celebrating Sonia's life on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Stegenga Funeral Chapel. The chapel is located at 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont MI 49306.
