Sidney Meekhof

Sidney Meekhof age 87, of Allendale, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ethel Meekhof. Sidney will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Janice (Nyquist); children, Arlan and Barb Meekhof, Duwayne Meekhof,  Mari Anne and Greg Vogelaar, Eva Sue Meekhof, Kathleen and Robert Schellenberg, Karen and Jack Lutke; grandchildren, Adrian and Missy Meekhof, Rich and Sara Meekhof,  Meredith and Justin Beidler, Scott Meekhof, Casey Meekhof, Danielle Olivo, Heather Meekhof, Abbey Vogelaar, Luke Vogelaar, Nick Meekhof, Robyn and Jeremy Ewalt, Robert Schellenberg, Jillian Schellenberg, Candace and Brent Nienhuis, Carmen and Josh Schreiber, Jessica Lutke; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Roger and Dee Meekhof; sisters-in-law, Wink Meekhof, Betty and Jerry Avink, Evelyn Nyenhuis; brothers in law, James Glashower, Joel and Joyce Glashower, Jerry and Cheryl Glashower; many nieces and nephews. Sidney proudly served his country in the US Army in the 101st Airborne. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11 am at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave., Allendale, 49401 with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, and from 10 to 10:45 am prior to the service at Rusk Christian Reformed Church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Unity Christian or to Borculo Christian Schools.
