WORKMAN - Shirley M. Workman, age 82, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Workman; granddaughter, Alicia Mae Hall; brother, Richard Groendyk; sister, Audrey (Robert) Wierenga; brother-in-law Floyd (Delores) Workman. Shirley is survived by her children, Michael (Julie) Hall, Patrick (Vicki) Hall, Daniel (Tom McGinness) Hall, Steven Workman, Karen (Mike Wallis) Workman, Jim (Patty) Workman; grandchildren, Mike (Jamie Hicks) Hall Jr., Pat Hall Jr., David (Amanda) Workman, Alex Workman, Tyler Workman; great grandchildren, Logan, Michael, Kaylee, Seth, Victoria, Ashlyn, Will; brother, William (Toni) Groendyk; sisters- in-law, Micky Groendyk, Alice Daniel, Darlene (Roger) Fox; brother-in-law, Donald (Rita) Workman. Shirley will be remembered for her enjoyment of bargain hunting, cooking, gardening and more recently participating in the Salvation Army seniors' program. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 14 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont.
