Shirley Van Oostendorp

Shirley Ann Van Oostendorp, age 86, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Van Oostendorp; sisters, Linda Fotice, Eileen Davidson; and brother, Jerry Vanden Bosch. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, David Van Oostendorp; children, Scott Van Oostendorp (his girlfriend, Laura Szczepanek), Ken (Amy) Van Oostendorp, Nancee (David) Kipen, Susan (Paul) Slattery; grandchildren, David Van Oostendorp, Adam (Olivia) Kipen, TJ Kipen, Tanner Slattery (his girlfriend, Summer Harms), Mason Slattery, Jenna Slattery; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Caroline, and Harrison; brother, Dave (Kyle) Vanden Bosch; sisters, Patti (Tom) Kaiser, Jill Wheeler, Judy Roe, Cheryl (Stuart) Cheney, Lori Vanden Bosch; sister-in-law, Marian Ganzevoort; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Fellowship, 1260 Chicago Dr. Jenison, with Pastor Caleb Befus officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, August 8, from 4-7 p.m. at the church and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
