Van Kuiken, Shirley June Shirley June Van Kuiken, age 77, of Grandville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents, Peter and June VanTil; brother, Donald. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Douglas and Patricia Van Kuiken, Michael and Janice Van Kuiken, Kimberlee and Bill Merten; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Peter and Patricia VanTil; sister, Carol and Kenneth Roelofs; sister-in-law, Lorna VanTil; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday 12 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Lewis VanderMeer officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and Monday from 11am -12 pm prior to the service.

From the first time I met her she was always friendly and accepting of me...even when others weren't. When I would see her at the store she would always say hello and ask how I was doing. A very lovely lady. My condolences to her family Darcy Grosjean
