Shirley Ann (Bainbridge) Peuler, age 81, of Caledonia, formerly of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 28, 2017.  She was preceded in death by grandson, Travis James Peuler; great granddaughter, Bryanna Rose Stone; parents, Homer and Elizabeth Bainbridge; one sister; two brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Raymond; children, Sheryl and Glenn VerMurlen, Ray and Ruth Peuler, Ron and Kim Peuler; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Hilldore; brother-in-law, Jim Stehouwer; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming.   Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Eighth Reformed Radio Broadcast Fund.

The help that God supplies does make a difference. The Christian apostle Paul stated that God “comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation.” True, divine help does not eliminate the pain, but it can make it easier to bear. That does not mean that you will no longer cry or will forget your loved one. But you can recover. And as you do, what you have experienced can make you more understanding and sympathetic in helping others to cope with a similar loss.—2 Corinthians 1:4.
