Shirley Ann Haugen, aged 81 of Wyoming, was taken to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; son-in-law; Mick Miller; granddaughter, Kim; and brother, Jerry Bowhuis. Shirley will be dearly missed by her children, James Haugen Jr., Patricia Miller, Terry (Carrie) Haugen, Dan (Dawn) Haugen, Alan (Connie) Haugen, Robert Haugen, Richard (Val) Haugen; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brother, Terry (Maria) Bowhuis. Shirley was a devoted, faith-filled, Godly woman who spent many years serving her parish of St. John Vianney. She loved spending time with her family and was a loyal fan of the Detroit Tigers, Whitecaps, Chicago Cubs, Griffins, and U of M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Michael Alber presiding. Interment Restlawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a vigil service to be held at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Vianney Education Foundation.

Shirley my dear...What to say. You were a little rascal and you loved it! I'm glad you got to see Tiger at Disney, and enjoy Florida weather. RIP. ....But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is.....I'm the only one...
