Shirley A. Meulenberg

Shirley A. Meulenberg, age 78, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 29, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Henry “Pete” Meulenberg; and her daughter-in-law, Kim Meulenberg.  She will be greatly missed by her children, Janna and Dan Kooima, Paul Meulenberg, Steven Meulenberg; 10 grandchildren; brother, John Dykstra; sister, Theressa and Bill Hofman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Audrey Dykstra, Eleanore Bol, Dan and Marcia Meulenberg, Judie and Jack Feenstra, Sylvia Meulenberg; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at Faith Protestant Reformed Church, 7194 20th Avenue, Jenison, with Rev. Clayton Spronk officiating.   Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW and Thursday from 1-1:45 PM at the church prior to the service.  Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Protestant Reformed School of their choice.
