Shelley Jean Kuiper

Shelley Jean Kuiper, age 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2019.  Shelley was born on July 7, 1949 in Grand Rapids to Robert and Wilma Smith.  She married Ken Kuiper and together they had 3 children.  Shelley lived her life to the fullest devoting her time to family, her precious granddaughters and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Wilma Smith; husband, Ken Kuiper; children, Chris Kuiper, Kerri (Todd) Carnes, Kim Kuiper; granddaughters, Laina, Amanda, and Kristy Carnes; brother, Michael(Kim) Smith; sister Kristen (Pat) McCarthy; brother in law, Ron(Donna) Kamp; sister in-law, Karen (Jack) Wiebenga; brother in-law David(Brenda) Kuiper; and many nieces and nephews.  Shelley was proceeded in death by her Father, Robert Smith and her brother Robert Smith, Jr.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 5^th at Cornerstone Church- Caledonia Campus 1675 84th St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.  Visitation with the family will begin at 10 am, service at 11 am and a luncheon with the family immediately following.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Faith Hospice, Caring Bridge or a charity of your choice.
