Sheila Rae Swanson

Sheila Rae Swanson, aged 61 of Wyoming, was unexpectedly called to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Metha Rae and Jerry Aldrich and step-dad, Jack Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Christopher; son, Todd Norman Swanson; daughters, Chrystal Rae Swanson, Stacey Kae Swanson (fiance, Michael Melville); grandson, Jax Michael Melville; sister, Sheryl Aldrich; step-brother, Danny Church; many nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Kimmy Sabin. Sheila was a loving, kind, caring person who had a smile for everyone. She especially loved her family and new grandson. She was a Facebook “junkie” and loved to spend time communicating with family and friends. Vacations to Interlochen allowed her time to recharge and connect with family. Funeral services for Sheila will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at North Kent Bible Church, 7210 Courtland Drive NE, Rockford with Pastor Michael Cisler officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Network or Lincoln School.
