Sheila Isabel Reddy

Sheila Reddy, age 87 of Grandville, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Bill; and sister, Helen Bruce. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill and Ann Reddy, John Reddy, Joe and Terri Reddy, Sheila and Dave Freund, Dan and Sandi Reddy; grandchildren, Heather, Joe, Liz, John, Melissa, Andy, Jacque, Tony, Katie, Julia, Nick; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special grand dog, Leo.  Sheila was a loving, generous, accepting mother and grandmother.  Everyone was welcomed and fed in her home; and those who met her, loved her.  She loved cooking for her family and others, especially her favorite Scottish dish, Steak Pie.  Sheila was the foundation of the family and was very unselfish and caring.  She was devoted to her church and God and watched Mass on TV on Sunday mornings when she was no longer able to drive to church. Sheila enjoyed being fashionable and had worked for over 25 years at Beverly’s and Rogers Department Store. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 31, 2018,  at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW,  with Fr. John Vallier officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming and one hour prior to mass on Tuesday at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
