Sharri Sue Comel, aged 74 of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dino L. Comel in 1971; their son, Craig Edward Comel in 1969; and her parents, Harold and Nora (DeNeff) Mokma. She is survived by her brothers, Terry and Irma Mokma, James and Vonnie Mokma; sister-in-law, Diana and George Pipa; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Karen and Bill VerHulst. A Memorial Service for Sharri will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Faith Reformed Church, 618 – 32nd Street SW, Wyoming with Pastor Bruce Osbeck officiating. A banquet will follow the service at the church. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a private burial service following at Grandville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of West Michigan.
