Sharon Maureen Frederick

Sharon Maureen Frederick, age 76, of Grandville, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister that cherished her family. Sharon worked in the banking industry for many years until she retired in 1998. She will be dearly missed by her husband of  56 years, Richard Frederick; her children, Charlie and Joanie Frederick, Dawn Frederick, Michael and Melissa Frederick; and “Granny” to her 8 grandchildren and her 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Hull; her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Nelson Lanam; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Karilyn Frederick, Beverly Daily, Tom and Bev Frederick; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Dean Prentiss officiating.   Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to March of Dimes.
