Sharon Mae VanDyke, age 65, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Sharon was a huge Beatles fan and also enjoyed Betty Boop, Winnie the Pooh, and Mickey Mouse, among others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Rena VanDyke. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Marilyn (David Welton) Duley, brother, Gary (Beverly) VanDyke; nieces and nephews, Susan (Jon) Taylor, Michelle (Derek) Mixon, Nick (Jodie) VanDyke, Jack (Amanda) Duley, Chris Duley; many great nieces and nephews; aunt, Muriel Griffore; and loving friend, Patrice. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the caregivers of Westchester Home for their loving care of Sharon.
Funeral services will be held noon on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at MKD Funeral Home-Stegenga Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. Burial will be held at New Bostwick Lake Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
