Sharon Luce

Luce - Sharon Ruth Luce, the kindest, most caring, and selfless person anyone could meet, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 23, 2020. Her endearing smile and kind words for anyone and everyone will remain forever with all who were blessed to know her. She had exceptional culinary skills, a passion for plants and flowers, and absolutely radiated with joy when surrounded by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The beach in front of their small cottage on Bois Blanc Island was a special place for her, and her spirit soared in the time she spent there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Wisinski: and brother-in-law, Donald Hoyle. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard James Luce; children, Cynthia (Glen) VanOrman, Richard Mark (Lisa Kirschner) Luce, Michael (Penny) Luce, Amy (David) Howell; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Marie) Wisinski and Joseph (Jean) Wisinski; and sister, Mary Susan Hoyle. 

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bella Vista Church, 5100 Belding Road NE, Rockford, Michigan. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family suggests that if you wish to honor Sharon in a special way, please consider an act of kindness to another person with her in mind. Read a book to a child, take a few extra minutes to listen to someone who is troubled, deliver a meal to someone who could use it, or even just share a smile with a stranger.
