LARA (McLenithan, Williamson) - Mrs. Sharon L. Lara (McLenithan), aged 70 of Grandville, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Grace) McLenithan and Juanita (Lucian) Braciak; sister, Colleen Ford; and her first husband, Douglas Williamson. Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Leandro Lara; children, Scott (Lynn) Williamson, Shawn (Mary) Williamson, Shannon (Greg) Veenstra, Melinda Ann Lara, Jesus Lara; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Karrie), Brian (Pamela) and Timothy (Jan) McLenithan, Brett (Kelly) Braciak; sister, Nancy (Matthew) Weatherholt; brother-in-law, Jerry (Tina) Ford and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was an AMVETS Post 126 Women's Auxiliary Past President. She was a mother, sister and friend to many. Even with all of her medical issues she stayed strong and her Irish Eyes were always smiling.
