The entire food and beverage team at John Ball Zoo is saddened to hear of Scott's passing. We are so grateful that he chose JBZ as his place of part time work after his retirement. He worked as a team lead for us, and his hard work and leadership were greatly appreciated by all. His passion for animals was always a delight to witness; especially hearing about his knowledge of birds. In his absence the past few months, everyone would mention how much they missed having Scott at work. We all offer our condolences for Scott's family and friends.

Our sincere condolences to Lori, Uncle Rene and Aunt Edith, Aunt Carma, Mark and all of Scott's family and friends. I have fond memories of our childhood family reunions and the penny races we had on the dry ice.

Scott, you have been and are a great friend. You have been there with me in times of sorrow and in times of celebration for over forty years. Your leaving, leaves a huge hole in my life, an absence I will feel for a long time; but that's what happens when great friends leave this world. I know that in some way you are with me still and with the many who love you. Be at peace, friend. Much love.
