Scott Lewis

Scott Brian Lewis, age 59, of Grand Rapids, was called home to Heaven unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Scott was a loving son, brother, and uncle. Scott was a cheerful soul who loved everyone he met and made people smile. Scott was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Murlin Lewis; and his grandparents, Ruth and Leo Haybarker, and Murlin Sr. and Irma Lewis. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Karen Lewis; siblings, Sheryl Cyranoski, Mark Lewis, Tracey and Dan Thomas; special aunts and uncle, Linda and Jeri VanderLaan, Vicki Lewis; and several special nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. S.W. with Msgr. Ernest Schneider presiding. The burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
