Sarah   Bredeweg

Bredeweg, Sarah On April 13, 2014, after a 100-year pilgrimage on this earth, God took Sarah (Bouwense) Bredeweg home. She was born in Grand Rapids to Cornelius and Cornelia Bouwense, who proceeded her in death, along with her brothers and sisters: Cornelia (Bill) Bishop, Tony (Eleanor) Bouwense, Lorraine (Bill) Groenendyk and Raymond Bouwense. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lois Bouwense. Sarah married Raymond Bredeweg and lived in Jamestown until his death, when she relocated to Jenison. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Mulder, who was married to Bill Mulder until his passing in 2005; her grandchildren, Michael Mulder and Amanda (Andrew) Knott, and her great-grandson, Liam Knott. God gave Sarah health and strength throughout her life, but we rejoice in that she was "justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" Romans 3:24. Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Andrew Knott and Rev. Adam Barton officiating.  Interment Jamestown Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home, as well as an hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor.
