Sandra Warden

Sandra Louise Warden, age 80, of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on June 25, 1943 in Olympia, WA and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon and Grand Haven area. Sandy graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1962. She was employed as a nurse’s aide at Shore Haven Nursing Home in Grand Haven for 10 years. She also worked at the Grand Haven Meijer store for 20 years, starting in the deli, then moving to the women’s department before retiring as a greeter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Ruth Strickler; siblings, Bruce Strickler, Sherry Strickler, and Brian Strickler. Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Paul Warden, Craig (Stephanie) Warden, Jason (Jenissa) Warden; grandson, Lukas Warden; siblings, Jean (Ken) Cook, Gary Strickler; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Sandy loved spending time in the water, particularly Lake Michigan, swimming and enjoying God’s creation. She was a devout Christian who loved God, her family, and her church, Christian Life Center. It was so important for Sandy to spread the love of Jesus with others and that they would be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. Burial has taken place at Norton Cemetery in Norton Shores, MI. A memorial service will be held at Christian Life Center, 16765 Hemlock Dr., Spring Lake, MI 49456 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 with Pastor Stephen McClain officiating. Visitation will start at 10 am with the service starting at 11 am. A luncheon/social will immediately follow. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Christian Life Center.
