Sandra Lee Brown

Sandra Lee Brown, age 71, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 18, 2019.  She was predeceased by her father, Clarence Dood. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 28 years, Tony; her children, Michael and Alexis Brooks, Lisa Brooks, Amy and James Martin, Heather VanderMolen, Jeffrey and Molly Brown; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother, Virginia Dood; 5 siblings; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Sandra enjoyed camping, golfing, bowling, and reading. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family. She had a swimming pool for the kids and grandkids even though she did not know how to swim. After being a stay at home mom for many years, she found a job she loved and always answered the phone “It’s an awesome day at CTA”. She and Tony loved to travel, especially on cruises. Sandy was a lover of dogs, especially her lapdog, Maysee.  Sandra was a very positive person with a great sense of humor. A celebration of Sandra’s life will take place at Plymouth United Church of Christ, 4010 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, on Tuesday, April 23, at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Lee Smith officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, April 22, from 5 to 8 pm, at the MKD Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, as well as Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Spectrum Health Hospice.
