Sandra Lea Bidgood

Sandra Lea Bidgood, age 74, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Senior Airman Charles S. Bidgood; grandson, Jonah Puruleski; brother, Roger and Darlene Fox; sisters, Nancy Black and Judith VanWieren. Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Charles; children, Michelle and Scott Cooke, Heather and Greg Puruleski, Jennifer Guiles, Eric and Jessika Bidgood; grandchildren, Brandon and Hannah Cooke, Hailey, Carter, and Isabelle Puruleski, Mason Guiles, Nolan and Emily Bidgood. Sandy enjoyed camping, bowling, and providing daycare for over 20 years. Her greatest joy was being with her family and her newest furbaby, Gigi. She was a faithful wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be dearly missed. The family wishes to thank Trinity Health At Home - Grand Haven hospice for their love and care shown to Sandy and her family during her last few days. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, April 25 at Community Christian Reformed Church, 150 Burt Ave. SE, Wyoming, with Rev. Dave Struyk officiating.  Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, April 24 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, and from 10-10:45am at the church prior to the service on Friday.
