Sandra L. Jester

Sandra L. Jester, age 66, of Wyoming, MI, formerly of Mesa AZ, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2018.  Sandi was a devout servant and child of the Lord. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and taking in all of God’s creation. She was a registered nurse and case manager. She loved interacting with others through Bible studies, Hope Keepers and divorce support groups.  She was preceded in death by her father, John T. Baas. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Robert L. Jester; children, Jodi (Chris) Bast, Jennifer (Bill) Loveless, Jeremy (Kara) Wilterink; step-children, Valerie Russell, Michelle Green; 14 grandchildren; mother, Doris R. Baas, sister, Barbara Armstrong, brothers, Kenneth and Philip Baas; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 6 pm on Friday, April 6 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Rev. James Karsten officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan, a nonprofit in Grand Rapids, MI.
