Sandra Kaylee Vander Haar, age 20, of Grandville, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. She graduated from Grandville High School and entered the United States Air Force. She was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma where she met and fell in love with her fiancé, Brandon Carter and his son, Kaysen. Sandra loved to dance and had a special talent for singing. Many people were blessed by her voice as she sang at home with her family and friends, performed on stage, or by recordings shared to others. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, her cuddles, her loving and friendly personality, and her huge love for all animals. Sandra had an enormous love for her siblings and enjoyed being home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her father, Derek Vander Haar; and her grandma, Sandra Kay Vredeveld. She will be dearly missed by her mother, Cathy (Ted Amirault) Potter; fiancé, Brandon Carter and his son, Kaysen Jennings; siblings, Cortney (Jesse) Allen, Tyson Potter, Colton (Mykala Valencourt) Potter; grandparents, Lloyd (Marylee) Boynton, Frank Vander Haar; nephew, Austin Potter; niece, Chloe Allen; several aunts and uncles and special aunt, Tori Lee Rider, who loved Sandra like a daughter. A special thank you to the Spectrum 5 North Oncology staff for taking such good care of our precious Sandra Kaylee.
