HOLLIDAY - Mrs. Sandra J. Holliday aged 78 passed away peacefully Thursday, January 12, 2017 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Smith. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Ronald; children, LuAnn (Robert) Piersma, Ron (Amy) Holliday, Scott Holliday, Tim (Kristy) Holliday, Kim (Sarah) Kenrick; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Randy (Kathy) Smith, Terry (Lori) Smith; sisters, Jane (Ted) McIntire, Cindy (Richard) Coe, Ginger (Mike) Fitzsimmons; several nieces and nephews. Sandra worked for many years as a waitress at the Elks Club and other restaurants. In later years she managed several McDonald's restaurants and retired after many years of service. She will be remembered for her love of family and family gatherings. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, January 16, 2017 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE. Her family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 7 to 9PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment Solon Township Cemetery.
